NAME2IP / FIELD NOTES

House Promotions. Clearly Separated.

The DNS tool comes first. Promotions stay outside query controls, records and command examples.

What Is Displayed Today

The DNS Workbench, Field Guide and CLI / API pages show two fixed house promotions: Snap Sub above the main content and The Adventures of Penny in a separate orange panel below it. Policy pages are banner-free. Each banner is labeled, uses a locally hosted image and links directly to its destination.

No Advertising Network or Tracking

AdSense and third-party ad networks are not enabled. These banners have no impression or click counters, tracking pixels or personalized advertising profiles. The Amazon link has no affiliate tag. No ad click is required to use the site.

Standards for Future Advertising

Advertisements must remain clearly labeled, separate from results and usable on small screens. They must not look like an error, a required download or the button that runs a tool. We do not fabricate traffic, earnings or performance claims. Any future tracking or paid advertising integration needs a separate privacy and consent review before activation.
